How it All Started
It all started with Eva, our Golden Retriever, and the love she brought into our lives.
After leaving her corporate career, Aabha wanted to build something around her love for dogs. She explored home-based boarding, but soon realised that dogs need more — space to run, freedom to play, and time to simply be dogs.
That's when the idea of Barkshire was born — a place where dogs can play, explore, rest, and be cared for like family.
And for Aabha, this dream is also deeply personal. She believes, there can be no better way to spend life than being surrounded by the unconditional love of dogs. Because perhaps the path to heaven is a life filled with wagging tails, wet noses, and the love of our four-legged companions.
